New Year for your business!

Happy New Year!

As we venture into this New Year, let us consider some goals for our business. Here are a few suggestions to help get you to vision your business' growth for 2021.

  • Revamp/update your business image/communications to reflect current events, for instance; Covid-19 safety measures (visit the CDC.gov for tips), offer video conferencing for face-to-face communications (Zoom.com will allow virtual meetings for 60 minutes for free), add tips on how to cope with multi-tasking (visit NU.edu for suggestions).

  • Have you considered your Social Media presence? Social Media is the fastest, most effective and inexpensive way to reach your customers (current & potential). Just thinking, at least 80% of Instagram user's follow at least 1 business.

  • Revenue. We all needed and most of us typically don't have it. Take a look at grants.gov for funding opportunities that may align with your business objectives. Although, you don't have to pay these funds back, most of these grants have are evidence-based and have very strong reporting requirements, so be sure to read the full solicitation to ensure you are able to fulfill the requirements.
