This COVID-19 pandemic is really hurting businesses around the world, unless you have tons of revenue in the bank and let's face it, we don't. So, the question becomes, what can we do to keep our business growing during
these times.
I've found that there are lots of state level grants available for small and local businesses. Some states offer a little more than others, but for the purpose of this post we will speak to the District of Columbia (DC), Maryland (MD), and Virginia (VA) - DMV area. Here are a few websites that offer grants for small and local businesses;
District of Columbia - dc.gov/page/grants-and-funding (DC's list of available grants)
Maryland - Commerce.maryland.gov (Maryland's Department of Commerce)
Virginia - SBSD.virginia.gov (Virginia's Small Business Financing Authority)
